Abstract

This study entitled "Analysis of Public Services at the Office of Religious Affairs, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City". This research is motivated by remembering that public service is a very important thing where public service is often a benchmark for the success of the state apparatus in providing the best service to the community. This study aims to determine the implementation of public services at the Office of Religious Affairs, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City in the field of Marriage Registration Services, as well as to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of these public services. This type of research is a descriptive survey with a qualitative method approach, which took place at the Office of Religious Affairs, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The informant who was determined as the respondent was the Head of the Office of Religious Affairs, the Marriage Official, the Recipient of the Marriage Registration Service, which was determined by purposive sampling technique. The types and sources of data are primary data and secondary data, while the techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of this study conclude that the public service of Marriage Registration at the Office of Religious Affairs, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City has been quite well implemented. This is because the KUA has been able to apply the standard components of public services well in the process of marriage registration services which include requirements; systems, mechanisms, and procedures; term of service; fees/tariffs; service products; handling complaints, suggestions and inputs; facilities and infrastructure, and/or facilities; implementing competence; number of implementers; and service guarantees. Inhibiting factors in the process of marriage registration services at the Office of Religious Affairs, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, among others, are the inadequate facilities and infrastructure available and the KTP of the marriage registration applicant which has not been presented online by the Disdukcapil. While the supporting factors are the availability of apparatus resources as adequate and competent implementing officers in their fields, the awareness of the prospective bride and groom who want to take care of marriage registration in complying with applicable rules and regulations.
