Abstract
This study aims to determine the supervision of the Pekanbaru City Health Office in the implementation of a pharmacy business license. The monitoring indicators used include setting standards, comparing performance according to standards, and taking corrective actions according to standards. The type of research located at the Pekanbaru City Health Office is a descriptive survey, using the quantitative method. There are two groups of population and samples in this study, namely employees, totaling four people and pharmacy business actors as many as 30 pharmacies. The two sampling techniques used in determining individual samples are the technical census for the employee population and the stratified random sampling technique for the business actor population group. Types and Data Collection Techniques used consisted of primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is the frequency table tool. Based on this technical analysis, the researcher assessed and concluded that the supervision of the Pekanbaru City Health Service in implementing the Pharmacy Business License was at an adequate interval. Recommendations that need to be considered, especially regarding the addition of human resources to the licensing division, are considering the increasing number of pharmacies in Pekanbaru City.
