Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of awareness of elderly PKH participants which causes the process of implementing the PKH Program to be imperfect. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Beringin Indah Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency in 2020. This study uses qualitative methods to describe the actual situation or what actually happened in the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH). in Beringin Indah Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency in 2020. The technique of withdrawing informants in this study used the snowball technique, which consisted of 7 people consisting of key informants and informants. The results of the research on the Implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Beringin Indah Village, Pangkalan Kuras, Pelalawan Regency in 2020 have been carried out quite well. This can be seen in the implementation indicators in the research in terms of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. PKH implementers in Beringin Indah Village have done their job well and according to existing SOPs. The community has also fulfilled its obligations. However, there are still some PKH participants themselves who do not carry out their obligations as PKH participants, this is certainly not in accordance with the obligations of participants in PKH. The lack of understanding of the elderly participants regarding what was conveyed by the facilitator also led to the less than optimal implementation of PKH in Beringin Indah Village.
