Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the subdistrict head in coordinating the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure of public service facilities in the sub-district of Bengkalis district and to identify the inhibiting factors and supporting factors of the Camat incoordinating the maintenance of public service facilities and infrastructure in the sub-district of Bengkalis district, the indicators used include word unity, communication, division of labor, and discipline. And the type of descriptive survey research, which describes the reality encountered in the field as it is and develops existing facts to find a complete objective about the object under study. Based on the purpose of the study, the sample is a sub-district party, sub-district head, sub-district secretary, service level using a census technique, namely a sample population. While the village head/Lurah and community leaders use a random sampling technique because it is easier for the writer to determine who is the respondent of the community leaders who are around the location and the village head/Lurah. The date collected using questionnaire list techniques and interviews, and secondary date collected using observation of space. While the date analysis technique used is by using a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique researchers assess and conclude that the role of the sub-district administrator in coordinating the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure for public service facilities in the subdistrict of Bengkalis district is on the “good enough” indicator. As for the advice that can be given to sub-district sub-districts, what has been achieved by the subdistrict in coordinating the maintenance of public service facilities and infrastructure is further improved, and it is expected that the sub-district coordinates with the villagehead in reviving the maintenance offacilities and infrastructure for public service facilities in sub-district suib-districts Bengkalis.
