Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Pekanbaru City Government's Policy in Preventing the Spread of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) (Case Study of the Keris Round about Monument Culinary Center). Prevention of the spread of the Corona Virus is an effort made by the government to reduce the high number of exposure to the Corona Virus. Prevention of the spread of the Corona Virus is carried out based on Pekanbaru Mayor Regulation Number 104 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for New Life Behavior for Productive and Safe Communities in the Prevention and Control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) in Pekanbaru City. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis techniques, as well as data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study are one key informant and four informants. From the results of the research on the Implementation of Pekanbaru City Government Policies in Preventing the Spread of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) (Case Study of the Keris Roundabout Monument Culinary Center) seen from four indicators according to George C. Edward, namely the communication of the implementation of this regulation has not run optimally, in terms of socialization , while the resources have been running optimally, the disposition indicators are not optimal, and the bureaucratic structure indicators are optimal.
