Abstract

The impact of the waves crashing causes changes in the shoreline. The purpose of this study is to identify priority coastal management zones based on the changing nature of the coastline on the coast of Bantan Ditrict. The method of this research was used descriptive-quantitative method, to explain shoreline changes in 2010, 2015, and 2020 with descriptive analysis techniques. Coastline change data processing were done by remote sensing which is processed with Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) tools. To obtained the coastal management priority was used method descriptive. The results of this study are the management priority on the coast of Bantan District. Changes in the coastline on the coast of Bantan District which are included in category (very much prioritized) A are Deluk Village, Mentayan Village, and East Bantan Village. Furthermore, priority B (highly prioritized) is found in Teluk Papal Village, West Muntai Village, Muntai Village, Teluk Pambang Village. And priority C (preferred) is in the Jangkang Village, Selat Baru Village, Bantan Sari Village, Coastal Pambang Village, Coastal Pambang Village, Kembung Luar, and Teluk Lancar Village.
