Abstract

Based on the concept of the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Development Indonesian Economy (MP3EI) corridor of Sumatra, Pekanbaru City and Dumai City is an area that is within the scope of the economic center connecting line. Therefore, it is necessary to hold faster access to connect the two cities. The construction of the Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road takes up 134 km of roads, in the construction of the Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road, the zero kilometer point of the toll gate is in Muara Fajar Village, Rumbai District, the zero kilometer point is closer to Yos Sudarso road than other points located behind the Muara Fajar sub-district office, which passes through residential areas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact toll road construction on social, economic and environmental factors in the community around the Muara Fajar sub-district, Rumbai sub-district, Pekanbaru City, so that the target to be achieved is to analyze the impact on the social community affected by land acquisition for the construction of the Sumatra Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road, to the the economy of the community affected by land acquisition for the construction of the Sumatra Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road, and to the environment at the postconstruction stage in the community around the toll road in Muara Fajar Timur Village. This type of research with qualitative descriptive method used in this study is also intended to obtain information about the condition of the area around the Pekanbaru Dumai toll road, especially in Muara Fajar Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru. The influence of the Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road construction on the social factors of the community around the toll road area in the Muara Fajar Timur Village, namely there is no estrangement in social relations between the neighborhood units, maintaining good social relations, on the economic factors of the community, namely the income of the community in the range of Rp. 1.001.000 - 3,000,000 from before the toll road and after the toll road, people's income did not change significantly, and to environmental factors, there was a decrease in air quality after the toll road.
