Abstract

Marriage satisfaction is not only marked by the person who is in a marriage relationship, but from how far the couple can feel the harmony of the household by meeting their physical, emotional and psychological needs.Marriage satisfaction can arise from high emotional maturity. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and marital satisfaction with husbands who have working wives. The subject of this research is the husband who has a wife working as many as 100 subjects. The subject taking technique used is perposive sampling. Measuring instruments used are emotional maturity scale and marriage satisfaction. The analysis used in this study is Pearson product moment correlation. The results of statistical analysis show the value of with corelasi = 0.303 **, sig = 0.002 (p <0.05), meaning that there is a significant relationship between emotional maturity and marriage satisfaction of a husband who has a working wife. Emotional maturity contributed 9.2% to marital satisfaction. The rest 90.2% is influenced by other factors, the higher the emotional maturity, the higher the satisfaction of marriage to a husband who has a working wife, and vice versa.
