Abstract

Encyclopedia is one of the most interesting learning in the community that can be used as an example. The background of the use of educational learning such as encyclopedias is that the flow of education is so low that it teaches several fields of science in a structured manner and only explores certain lines. There are many factors that make Malays feel marginalized in Riau Province, either directly or indirectly. One of the direct causes was that in 1963, the President of Indonesia, Soekarno, who was going to visit Pekanbaru, was about to be greeted and prepared with a traditional ceremony and cultural Malay art by Riau artists and culturalists. However, this plan was met with opposition from Riau Governor's Office officials. Finally, there was a debate between humanists and Riau artists. With this Android application design system, it can make it easier for people to find out about Riau Malay culture which was not known before, so that what is no longer heard will appear and can make it easier for users to find out about Riau Malay culture in the Android application. the overall calculation of the processing of the questionnaire with the number of questions is 5, the total percentage obtained is 453.2% and the average percentage value is 90.64%. It can be concluded that the results of processing the scale for the questionnaire are very good and can be implemented as an encyclopedia application of Riau Malay culture.
