Abstract

Game Legend of Depati Parbo is an adventure game where players will run the character of a hero. Where this game tells about a legend that exists in the land of Jambi, precisely in the Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. This game was created using the RPG Maker MV application, by applying artificial intelligence FSM (Finite State Machine). FSM (Finite State Machine) is used on NPC (Non Playable Character) characters, namely characters driven by artificial intelligence that are used to support the game. Like the supporting characters of the story who use three things, namely: Circumstances, Events, and Actions. From the tests that have been carried out on the results of artificial intelligence FSM (Finite State Machine) in the game "Legenda Depati Parbo" this NPC character (Non Playable Character) can recognize the choices made by the player to determine the next action to be taken by the NPC, from the results Tests conducted on 10 different people got the following results, 2 people said it was enough, 6 people said it was good, 2 people said it was very good.
