Abstract

The need for clean water in a routine is something that really needs to be considered because the availability of clean water in a routine is an absolute means. For that we need a tool in the form of a pump to distribute the air. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the centrifugal pump design system, the speed and amount of water flow that must be provided and to analyze the centrifugal pump maintenance system so that it can always be used to meet the air needs in the detention center. The object of this research is the Class 1 Rutan Pekanbaru. The results of the research are that the pump head obtained is high enough so that it can determine the power required for a pump with a high capacity, flow velocity in the suction pipe and pressure pipe based on the capacity and diameter of the pipe. so from this result we can determine the losses that occur in the pipe due to the large number of residents assisted by Pekanbaru, the pump operates longer than pumps in general
