Abstract

In recording or taking video, there are often cases or incidents of wrong angles in coverage by cameramen. Where the wrong angle incident can lead to different perceptions and opinions from the audience which are not directly proportional to the information to be conveyed or broadcast by the television station itself. There are camera angle errors that have a big impact and there are also small ones that are not so influential but still interfere with the process of taking pictures, especially in journalistic news coverage. Augmented Reality in the application of learning basic photography techniques. In this application there is material in the form of basic photography techniques and photo object simulations with Augmented Reality technology which will produce a simulation of the introduction of camera types, lighting techniques, shooting techniques, and simulations of various genres of photography such as Landscape, Portrait, Wildlife, and others as object photos. This application can run optimally in displaying 3D objects if the tracking area object is approximately 50cm away and has a color pattern/pattern on the tracking area object and has a light intensity above 0 lux. Based on user testing, the percentage results are 85% so that the application can be implemented.
