Abstract

SDS Muhammadiyah Duri was founded in 1968 which is a Muhammadiyah school under the Muhammadiyah Mandau Duri Persyarikatan. SDS Muhammadiyah Duri has its own qualifications in selecting teaching staff at the school. So far, the process of determining the best teacher still uses the manual method, which is still using deliberation or discussion. The results of the discussion by the assessment team are then submitted to the principal for approval to determine who deserves to be the best teacher. But when it was determined by the principal based on the assessment of the assessment team, many protested against the unrealistic value. To overcome the problems that have been described, a system is needed to assist the assessment team in the process of determining the best teacher. By using the method, the Weighted Product hoped that it can help the principal to determine the best teacher at SDS Muhammadiyah Duri. The final result of the decision support system for determining the best teacher who will later collect points to get rewards Umrah From the foundation every year. The decision support system for determining the best teacher using the method Weighted Product has a percentage value of 91% so that this system can be implemented.
