Abstract

ABSTRACT Analyasis of Interpersonal communication with students (a study on addiction students playing online PUBG(Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds) games in Pekanbaru Edi SaputraHasibuan 169110052 Basically the authors do this research to give referrals to parents to business the activities of his children at home more in the notice, because it concerns the behavior of the addictions (addiction) makes the child will be increasingly terpuruk, and in the end his son became lazy, against the parents, so that there arose a sense of inharmony in a family relationship, in his because less understand how to approach interpersonal communication between parents and children, so that parents are less precise in providing education related to addiction in playing online games PUBG. By using some characteristics in conducting Interpersonal communication so that parents are able to control and regulate how to approach the parents must do to their children. Research methods conducted by researchers is Kulaitatif method by conducting direct observation, interviews, and documentary, researchers seek informant related to the criteria of addiction (adiction).informants in this study focused on parents as someone who is responsible for the head of the family. There are 5 informants who have been interviwed by this researcher. The researcher found a common opinion in the communication process that has been carried out by parents and student, namely parents mostly forbid their children to play online games because of inconsistency in playing time, so that many positive things tha are researchers provide advice to parents and also especially to children who are addicted to finding activities at home and in the social environment that lead to positive things so that the effect of play addiction is reduced.
