Abstract
Management of Sangar Dance, Singgasana Dance Company in Pekanbaru City Novri Yola Yadmi NPM. 166710263 Essay. Sendratasik Education Study Program. FKIP Riau Islamic University. Advisor: Dr. Nurmalinda, S.Kar., M.Pd. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how the management of Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company in Pekanbaru City. This research place is located on Jalan Amalia GG. Amalia II, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research uses the theory of George R. Terry in Irika Widia Santi and Lenggogeni (2014: 18) which describes the management function: i) Planning in the form of making short and long term work programs. Making work weekly, monthly and yearly as determined. ii) The organization in which this organization was formed was founded until now. All members and administrators can carry out their respective duties as determined by the chairman of the Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company. iii) Implementation which is carried out by all members and management. In recruiting new members, direction from the chairman to all members and motivation given by the chairman to all members of the studio and a warning for members of the Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company who violate so that there are no further violations. iv) Direct control. The Chairperson of the Singgasana Dance Company and all the management and members of the studio can coordinate optimally so that the goals set by the studio chairman can be achieved. This is evidenced by the decline of the head of the studio in training members so that the head of the studio knows how the progress of each member is and how enthusiastic the members of the Singgasana Dance Company are in practicing to achieve maximum dancer quality. The management function can be seen from every process and result of the work of all management in Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company. In this study using descriptive analysis method using interactive qualitative data with data collection techniques interview observation and documentation. From the results of research conducted in the field, it can be concluded that the management of Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company has been running according to the management and management functions of Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company in Pekanbaru City. This can be seen from all activities of the Sanggar Singgasana Dance Company management in carrying out all their duties.
