Abstract

This study aims to make e-module-based teaching materials regarding the local wisdom of the Akit tribe in maintaining and preserving biodiversity, as well as testing the validity and feasibility of the products produced. Besides, it is also to find out student responses to the e-module. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The research was conducted in Titi Akar Village, Rupat Utara, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The limited trial was carried out on 30 students of class X SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. Retrieving data through observation, interviews, FGD, validation sheets, and questionnaires. The results of validation tests by several validators indicate that this e-module is very suitable to be used as material for the enrichment of biological diversity and its preservation efforts for grade X SMA students; ahi material 75% (quite feasible), media experts 94.05% (very feasible), teachers 92.6% (very feasible,). The results of the student response questionnaire were 92.1%, with very good criteria. The existence of this e-module is expected to increase students' knowledge of local wisdom, increase student awareness in protecting and conserving biological resources.
