Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the job characteristics and job satisfaction of employees of PT. Adira Finance Pekanbaru City and the effect of job characteristics on employee job satisfaction. This research was carried out with a quantitative descriptive method using primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews and research questionnaires. Respondents taken were 37 employees. From the research results obtained descriptive conclusions regarding the characteristics of the work at PT. Adira Finance Pekanbaru Branch is in the agreed category, this indicates that in working employees are provided with job characteristics that are in accordance with the position and abilities of the employee so that they can meet their needs. The results of respondents' responses regarding job satisfaction at PT. Adira Finance Pekanbaru Branch in the agree category, this indicates that in working employees can already be satisfied with what the company provides, it can be in the form of suitable job characteristics and a comfortable work environment. There is a significant effect of the variable job characteristics (X) affect the variable job satisfaction at PT. Adira Finance Pekanbaru Branch.
