Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of reward and punishment on employee performance at PT. Word Forward Together. The dependent variable in this study is employee performance (Y). Meanwhile, the independent variables are reward (X1) and punishment (X2). The population used in this study were employees of PT. Sabda Maju Bersama with a total of 68 employees, while the sampling technique was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 32 respondents. The research method used is descriptive and quantitative methods. For the data analysis method, the multiple linear regression analysis method uses the SPSS 21.0 program. The results showed that reward had a significant positive effect and punishment had a significant negative effect on employee performance at PT. Word Forward Together. The value of R Square on the reward and punishment variables affecting performance is 68.8%.
