Abstract

The Village Government through the Village Head is authorized to carry out Village development based on the interests of the Village community. Implementation of Duties of the Head of Lubuk Keranji Timur Village, Bandar Petalangan Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency in the Physical Development of the Village completed the Improvement of Village Roads, the construction of a Box Curver and the construction of a Semenisasi. This study aims to determine the implementation of the task of the Village Head in the Village Physical Development in the Village of East Lubuk Keranji, District of Bandar Petalangan, Pelalawan Regency and Inhibiting Factors in Implementation. The research method used is quantitative, where data collection techniques use a questionnaire that was distributed to research respondents. In addition to distributing questionnaires Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data processing were obtained from research respondents, then processed to then be presented in tabular form then analyzed. From the results of research conducted in Lubuk Keranji Timur Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency, it can be seen that the Implementation of the Village Chief's Duties in the Physical Development of the Village is quite good, where the village head has done his job in the physical development of the village event even though it cannot be done simultaneously in the current yearThe obstacle faced in the physical development of the Village is the lack of supervision carried out by the Village Head on the continuity of the Village development activities, there is no cooperation with the village community evenly related to the determination of the physical development of the Village to be made. and Village Heads do not understand broadly the efforts to develop village physical development activities. However, the authors suggest that village heads receive input and cooperate with the community in village physical development activities and improve the village head's ability to develop the village's physical development.
