Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of seriousness of students in practicing dance and student learning outcomes are less improved and there are still many who have not reached KKM. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the Improvement in Learning Outcomes of Cultural Arts (Mak Inang Island Kampai Dance) Through Jigsaw Type X Cooperative Learning Model Class XI IPA 4 at SMAN 10 PEKANBARU T.A 2019/2020? This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes of the culture of Mak Inang Dance Kampai Island. The Jigsaw method is a good way of teaching to instill certain habits. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). Retrieval of data in the form of observation, tests, practice, and documentation. The element of evaluation is through three elements, which are: cognitive, affective, psychomotor assessment. At the trial stage it can be said that there are still many students who have not yet reached the KKM score of 79. At the data recapitulation stage in the first cycle phase there were 27 people out of 36 students classified as sufficient categories, 4 people categorized as good, and 5 people out of 36 students classified as poor categories . And then the recapitulation phase of the second cycle data there are 11 people from 36 students classified in the category enough, and 6 people from 36 students classified in the good category, and 3 people from 36 students classified in the category very well, and 2 students who are classified in the category less .
