Abstract

In this day and age, the problems of marriage and family are very diverse from small problems to big problems. Starting from small fights to divorce in other words, there are many factors that cause marriage, both mental, financial and knowledge about marriage. So it is necessary to have Guidance before marriage or known as Suscatin (Bride and Groom Course) in order to know about married life in the future and prepare for domestic life later. The main problem in this research is how effective the implementation of SUSCATIN (Bride and groom Candidate Course) in order to prevent divorce in the KUA area of Tampan District, Pekanbaru City and what are the inhibiting factors in the effectiveness of the implementation of SUSCATIN (Bride and groom Candidate Course) in order to prevent divorce in the KUA area of Tampan Kota District Pekanbaru. This type of research is empirical research through descriptive nature. In this study, the author intends to see firsthand how the Effectiveness of the Implementation of SUSCATIN (Bride and groom Candidate Course) in order to prevent divorce in the KUA area of Tampan District, Pekanbaru City and to find out the inhibiting factors in the effectiveness of the implementation of SUSCATIN in order to prevent divorce in the KUA area of Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the process of guiding the process of implementing the prospective bride and groom course in order to prevent divorce in the KUA area of Tampan District is carried out through three stages, namely preimplementation, implementation stage and post-implementation stage. The preimplementation stage is that each of the bride and groom must fulfill several procedures before carrying out the prospective bride and groom course. At the implementation stage, the material presented is about life in a household in forming a sakinah family. The material is carried out using lecture and question and answer methods.
