Abstract
Based on the survey results at Gold Shops in Pelalawan Regency, there are 22 Gold Shops. From the results of a survey on 5 gold shops registered in Pelalawan District. The purpose of this study is to find out how the accounting application has been carried out by gold shop entrepreneurs in Pelalawan Regency. The data used are primary and secondary data. Methods of collecting data using consultation, routine interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis used descriptive method. Keywords: Application of Accounting, Basic Concepts of Accounting Based on the data from research, it can be concluded that all respondents who became the research sample recorded cash receipts and disbursements. However, the recording is still very simple. All Gold Shops have implemented an accounting concept, where cash receipts and disbursements are recorded when cash is received or issued.
