Abstract

This study is entitled the use of Vocal Techniques in the Samudasy Nasal Group in Pekanbaru, Riau. The problem discussed in this study is How is the Vocal Technique in the Nasyid Samudra Group in Pekanbaru Riau. This study aims to determine the technique of vocal processing in the Samudasy Nasal group in Pekanbaru, Riau. The theory used in this research is Ririe Alley's theory. then data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. The subjects in this study were the chairman and members of Nasyid Samudra, amounting to 3 people. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method that is research in the form of words, not figures that indicate quantity. From the results of this study concluded that the vocal technique is a way to produce sound that is good and right, so that the sound that comes out sounds clear, beautiful, melodious, and loud namely by paying attention to Articulation, Breathing, Intonation, Phrasering, Body Attitude, Resonance, Vibration, and Improvisation.
