Abstract

Supervision is a follow-up activity, because it is oversight always guided by goals, organizing, directing, and coordinating. Advertisement boards or Bilboard is made of planks, wood, zinc, tenplete, collibrite, vinyl, aluminum, fiberglass, glass, stone, or concrete walls, metal or other similar materials, mounted in place provided (stand-alone) or affixed to or created on the walls of buildings, walls, fences, poles, and so nice shine, illuminated or not shine. Spatial Agency Pekanbaru is the agency that has the duty to monitor or Bilboard Advertising Board. The purpose of this research is to analyze and explain the billboard advertisements conducted by the Planning Office Ruangdan Pekanbaru City Buildings and constraints. The method used is descriptive and quantitative methods. As for the Pekanbaru City Spatial Agency, employees and managers of billboards as many as 16 people. The data collection technique questionnaire and interviews and descriptive and quantitative analysis data. From the results of research on billboard control (bill board), carried out by the Department of Spatial Planning and Building of Pekanbaru in category materialize. This indicates that the agency has performed effectively so that the supervision was performed optimally. However, from the results of observations carried out, it is known to control the field not routinely and regularly so there is also a billboard that does not have permissions.
