Abstract

This study aims to determine the accountability and transparency of financial management at the District Office of West Rengat, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The location of this research was carried out at the Rengat Barat Sub-district Office, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province, which was located in Pematang Reba Village. The types and sources of data used are primary and secondary data. The method used is descriptive qualitative by comparing the existing practice and theory, then a conclusion is drawn to be presented in the thesis. The results of this study are financial reporting accountability with program accountability indicators not showing satisfaction to the community, policy indicators are appropriate, administrative accountability process accountability indicators are not good, honesty and legal accountability indicators are appropriate, while the level of financial accountability is appropriate. transparency of financial management has not been optimal and has not been effective. Transparency of financial management in informative indicators of the details of the APBD budget, the community does not know about the financial management of government transfer funds related to its development for village funds. An indicator of openness of delivery in the form of a website information system that is still not good. The Disclosure Indicator is quite good.
