Abstract

Self-efficacy is a belief or individual confidence regarding its ability to organize, perform a task, achieve a goal, produce something and implement it in action to achieve goals. Meanwhile, fighting power is the ability to build character that reflects personality and increases self-confidence. Likewise with students who are required to live in the boarding school environment so that students are required to adapt to the surrounding environment with all the activities, learning demands, habits, and culture that exist in the environment around the boarding school. This is a problem for students and affects the self-efficacy and fighting power of students to stay in the Islamic boarding school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between fighting power and self-efficacy of the students at the Ar-rasyd Pinang Awan Islamic Boarding School. The subjects in this study were 271 students, taken using a random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a scale of 20 items for the self-efficacy scale and 39 items for the fighting power scale. The results showed that fighting power had a significant positive relationship with the self-efficacy of the students with a correlation coefficient of 0.531.with a significant value of 000. In the sense that the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
