Abstract

This research aims to figure out what is the effectiveness of the program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT. Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) to the community in the vicinity of the company. The benefits of this research in a practical way want to contribute to the company and also hopefully can contribute to other companies as a demonstration material for the implementation of CSR programs. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach because researchers gather data in a way that directly comes together and interacts with people in the research. The assessment indicators used (1) program comprehension, (2) precise target (3) achieving objectives (4) real changes. The result of this research, PT. Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) has been implementing CSR program effectively, said to be given that the program is already in contact with the community and according to the needs of society. The advice for this research is suggested that the CSR program is sustainable, targeted and synergized, and do not run the program just to run the obligation but made an awareness.
