## Abstract

One of the efforts to support the successful exploration and exploitation of a geothermal field is well testing to determine the maximum production capacity (deliverability) of a well in a geothermal field. One of the production test methods is the horizontal lip pressure method, which is a well testing method that is useful for determining the amount of enthalpy and flow rate. In this method, the geothermal fluid from the well is flowed into the silencer, then the pressure is measured at the end of the blowpipe and the well flow rate is measured through a mag flow meter. For the flow rate calculation, the researcher uses the equation of Russell James. The purpose of this study is to analyze the production capability of the X well with a flat spray test and the value of the variables in the deliverability/production capacity equation. The data collected in this study were flat spray production test data in the form of brine flow rate (M brine), wellhead pressure (WHP), lip pipe cross-sectional area (A), lip pressure (P lip) in well X. These data processed into a test output curve so that the variables in the deliverability equation are obtained, namely the value of C = 10^1.1918 = 15.5 and n = 0.2589 for steam rate and C = 10^1.806 = 63.9 and n = 0, 2601 for the total rate. If well X is operated at WHP 6-9 coal, it will produce a steam rate of 19.5 Kg/s – 24.1 Kg/s, and will produce a power of 9.8 MW – 12 MW on a Specific Steam Consumption (SSC) turbine of 2 Kg/s/MW. The percentage error in the deliverability equation is 3% - 6% for the steam rate and 1% - 5% for the total rate
