Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of discipline on the performance of state elementary school teachers in the district. Seberida Kab. Indragiri Hulu. This study used a sample of 48 and 4 schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research data that appears in the form of words that describe and describe research subjects based on facts. To collect data, the research used observation techniques, interview techniques, documentation, and questionnaires. The hypothesis of this research is that work discipline has a positive influence on the performance of state elementary school teachers in the district. Seberida kab. Indragiri hulu . The analysis in this study was carried out by testing the validity, then reliability testing, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression test, t test and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2). The strength of the relationship between the two variables is very strong, namely 0.658. From other coefficients not discussed in this study. From the results of processing the questionnaire data, the authors conclude that the work discipline applied by the school has an effect on creating teacher performance. Teacher performance must be improved, for that it is necessary to continuously apply work discipline.
