Abstract
Smart Home is a technology that makes the home has an automation system with very advanced performance. This system utilizes multimedia technology to monitor the home security system and also controls household appliances installed on windows and doors, activates several lighting equipment and monitors temperature and many other functions. Internet of Things in general can be interpreted as objects around us that can communicate with each other via the internet. Internet of Things has the concept of expanding the benefits of being connected in a continuous internet connection. In the implementation of this research, the implementation of a smart home based on sound patterns will be carried out in the form of a prototype and application system. All devices will work using the internet network. The components that will be used in the design of this smart home are the mini nest as a sound capture medium, the Nodemcu microcontroller as the brain of the circuit, lights and fans of smart home devices. This tool will work when the user gives a voice command in the form of instructions to turn the device on and off. Then the device that is connected to the internet will automatically react according to voice commands
