Abstract

This study is entitled "The Aesthetic Value of Hadroh Music in the Community of Sialang Kubang Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province". The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the aesthetic value of hadroh music in the community of Sialang Kubang Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the aesthetic value of hadroh music in the community of Sialang Kubang Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Theories used in this study are Jakob Sumardjo and A.A.M Djelantik's Theories. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, data display. The subjects in this study were seven people. The results of this study indicate that the aesthetic value of hadroh music is as follows: it has intrinsic value consisting of, (1) the value of the form or form of hadroh music in sialang kubang village can be seen in terms of equipment, place of implementation, and members 2) the value of the weight or contents of the music Hadroh Sialang Kubang Village enjoyed a variety of atmosphere, ideas and messages, which were viewed in terms of the meaning of the song presented and the atmosphere in the presentation (3) the value of appearance or disclosure which was assessed from the skills and readiness of the members when the time was taking place and its implementation. The extrinsic value of hadroh music in the village of Sialang Kubang, which was judged based on the religious experience of informers of hadroh music lovers, produced a beauty that could be felt in terms of meaning, message, and the mood of the soul that was moved.
