Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the learning media Fun Thinkers Book on subthema 1 National Event colonial period class V Elementary School. The research uses research and development methods used to produce products and test the viability of fun thinkers book media. This research uses the ADDIE development model. This research is conducted with three stages, namely 1) the analysis stage consisting of curriculum analysis, needs analysis, and material analysis; 2) The design stage is designing fun thinkers book learning media using Adobe Photoshop application; 3) The development stage is developing the Fun Thinkers Book media on the theme of 7 subthema 1 grade V elementary school which is then printed and tested. In addition, researchers also compiled research instruments, namely validation sheets. The results of this study showed that the Fun Thinkers Book learning media meets the criteria very decently as well as the results of the overall aspects of Fun Thinkers Book learning media, namely material experts, media experts and linguists obtained from 6 validators obtained an average percentage score can be seen in the first validation of 87.43% and second validation by obtaining an average percentage of 93.26%.
