Abstract
Turnover intention is the intention of a person or a desire that arises in a person to quit or move from his work voluntarily or involuntarily to a workplace that he thinks is better or more comfortable than his previous job. Transactional leadership style is one of the factors that influence turnover intention. This study aims to see how much the employee relationship between transactional leadership style with turnover intention. The population of this research is the entire employees who are spread in several stores in Kerinci Base, the number of subjects in this study is 70 people PT. Indomarco Prismatama. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling technique. Research data were collected using a scale of transactional leadership style and Turnover intention scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is to use Pearson Correlation analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained by the correlation coefficient value of R = 0.288, p<0.05, which illustrates that there is a significant relationship between leadership style with Turnover Intention. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between transactional leadership style with turnover intention, with a contribution of 8%. Therefore, training centers need to be provided to equip the skills of leaders and prospective leaders, thus the level of turnover intention will also be lower.
