Abstract
This study entitled "Aesthetic Value Motion Dance In Randai Kuantan Ali Baba In Kenegerian kopah Middle Kuantan District Kuantan District of Riau Province Singingi. '' This study aims to determine how the Aesthetic Value Motion Dance In Randai Kuantan Ali BabaIn Kenegerian Kopah, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The research method used in this study was descriptive analysis method using qualitative data from observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study amounted to 9 people consisting of 1 randai chairman, 1 music player, 1 dancer and 6 other local people. The research took place in Kenegerian Kopah, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The theory used in this study was The Liang Gie (1996:49). Data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, display or presentation of data, drawing conclusions and then verifying. In the motion of Randai Kuantan Ali BabaIt has aesthetic value or also known as beauty value. Research findings about the aesthetic value of Randai Kuantan Ali Baba's movement, namely unity, unity in motion, music, and fashion, also called beauty, harmony in music, motion, and fashion are also found in Randai Kuantan Ali Baba , balance is also seen in the change from Moderate to fast movements, uniformity in the movements of Randai Kuantan Ali Baba , the circular floor pattern design facing each other and side by side left and right, and resistance can also be seen from the dance movements, tempo and emphasis of the music beats that are not harmonious.
