Abstract

The problem raised in this study is how the aesthetic value in the dress of the Holy Day Prayer of the Full Moon at the Pura Agung Jagatnatha, Pekanbaru City. The aim of the researcher is to find out the aesthetic value in the clothes for the Holy Day of the Full Moon Prayer at the Pura Agung Jagatnatha, Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this research is Darsono Sony Kartika (2007:89). The research methodology is descriptive analysis with interactive qualitative data, while data collection uses observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The resource persons in this study were as fashion stylists at Pura Agung Jagatnatha Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, amounting to 2 people. Conclusion Aesthetic Values in Dress for Prayer on the Holy Day of the Full Moon at Pura Agung Jagatnatha Pekanbaru City Riau Province can be seen from the value of beauty, namely: 1) unity can be seen from the overall clothing, models and forms that need each other and cannot be separated, 2) Harmony can be seen from the elements of clothing that have similar shapes, 3) Symmetry can be seen from the color, left and right sides of the clothing, and basic color combinations, 4) balance can be seen from the shape and color on the clothing, 5) resistance (contrast) can be seen from the shape and color of men's and women's clothing.
