Abstract

This study aims to analyze the bankruptcy of aviation companies listed on the IDX, namely Garuda Indonesia and IATA (Indonesia Transport & Infrastructure). Bankruptcy prediction of Garuda and IATA were analyzed by using Altman Z-Score, Zmejewski, Springate and Grover methods on companies’s financial statements 2014-2018. Based on the bankruptcy criteria for each method of analysis, it was found that Garuda was predicted to be bankrupt by three methods of analysis, namely the Altman Z-Score, Springate and Grover methods. While IATA is predicted to go bankrupt by every bankruptcy analysis methods. It can be concluded that Garuda and IATA will go bankrupt in the future if they do not prepare steps and strategies to overcome bankruptcy.
