Abstract

Psychological Well-Being is a person's psychological potential in accepting a situation when individuals can accept their strengths and weaknesses as they are, to have a purpose in life, to develop positive relationships with others, to become an independent person, to be able to control the environment and continue to grow personally. Meaningfulness of life is one of the factors that influence Psychological Well-Being. The aim of the study is to see how much the relationship between Meaningfulness of Life with Psychological Well-Being at Taruna Satria Vocational School Pekanbaru students. The number of subjects in this study were 123 Taruna Satria Vocational School Pekanbaru students. The instruments for data collection in this study were the scale of Meaning fulness of Life with Psychological Well-Being. Analysis of the data used product moment correlation analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained by the correlation coefficient value of 0.034 (p <0.05 ) which illustrates that there is a relationship between the two variables, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis test the researcher received. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between Meaningfulness of Life with Psychological Well-Being in Taruna Satria Vocational School students in Pekanbaru.
