Abstract

This research was conducted on 20 male students of SMA Negeri 1 Pinggir Bengkalis Regency. This study aims to determine the Contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power and Speed to Long Jump Results in SMA Negeri 1 Pinggir, Bengkalis Regency. The type of research used in this study is correlation. The research instruments used were the Standing Long Jump Test (Broad Jump), the 60 Meter Running Test and the Juah Jump Test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained, for the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and speed to the long jump result there is no contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the long jump results of students of SMA Negeri 1 PinggirBengkalis Regency with a value of rhitung = 0.433 or 18, 75%. There is no contribution of speed to the long jump results in SMA Negeri 1 Pinggir, Bengkalis Regency with a value of rhitung = 0.444 or 3.92%. There is a contribution of the explosive power of the leg muscles to the speed of the long jump results in the students of SMA Negeri 1 Pinggir, Bengaklis Regency, rhitung = 0.438 or 19.18%.
