Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and waist flexibility to the shooting results of the U-16 SSB Kampak Disdik Junior soccer ball. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study were soccer players U-16 SSB Kampak Disdik Junior, totaling 10 people. The research instrument used was a leg muscle explosive power test with a standing broadjump, a waist flexibility test and a soccer shooting test result. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, conclusions can be drawn as follows (1) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the shooting results of the U-16 SSB Kampak Disdik Junior soccer ball by 54.17%. (2) There is a contribution of waist flexibility to the shooting results of the U-16 SSB Kampak Disdik Junior soccer ball by 73.44%. (3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and waist flexibility to the shooting results of the U-16 SSB Kampak Disdik Junior soccer ball by 87.98%.
