Abstract

The purpose of this research is to contribute eye-hand coordination to the long service ability of badminton playing for junior players PB Bank Riau Pekanbaru. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were 16 junior players at PB Bank Riau Pekanbaru. The sample in this study were junior players PB Bank Riau Pekanbaru. Thus the number of samples in this study were 16 students. The sampling technique used total sampling. The instruments used were a tennis ball catch throwing test and a badminton long serve test. The results of data analysis obtained the calculated r value of 0.580, in the range 0.400 - 0.700 with the sufficient category. The conclusion in this study is that there is a contribution of eye and hand coordination to the ability of long service badminton in PB Bank Riau Pekanbaru junior players with a percentage of 33.6%. The contribution level in the category is sufficient. The calculated r value is 0.580 and the r table at df = 14 is 0.497.
