Abstract
The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether there is a contribution of leg muscle power to the jumping out of the 2013 Penjaskesrek Force students from the Riau Islamic University in Pekanbaru. Sampling is a total sampling technique, totaling 20 people. The instrument used was a test of leg muscle power, and outbreak jumps. Data analysis using product moment correlation and to find the contribution of each variable using the formula coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of leg muscle power to the outbreak jump results of the 2013 Penjaskesrek Force students of the Riau Islamic University in Pekanbaru. after analysis that there is a value of r count = 0.58 while the r table 0.444. Where there is a contribution of 33.1%.
