Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11, No.113, Kelurahan Air Dingin, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. This research was carried out for 3 months, from April to June 2019. This study aimed to determine the effect of interaction and the main influence of the administration of NASA's Corn Litter Compost and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) on the growth and production of onion plants. The design used in this study was a Factorial Complete Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor is Factor T (Corn Litter Compost Tricho) which consists of 4 levels, namely treatment 0, 0.75, 1.50 and 2.25 kg / plot with the second factor is P (Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) NASA) consisting of 4 levels, namely treatments 0, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 ml / liter of water so that there are 16 treatment combinations. Data from observations of each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with further tests of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Effect of NASA Litter Compost Tricho Compost and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) NASA interactively influences plant height and tuber shrinkage per clump. The main influence of the administration of corn litter compost and NASA POC influence on plant height, harvest age, number of tubers per clump, dry weight of tubers per clump, shrinkage of tubers and production per plot. The best combination of treatment in the Ticho compost was 2.25 kg / plot of Corn Litter compost and NASA POC 2.5 ml / L of water (T3P1).
