Abstract

This research was conducted in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM. 11 Kelurahan Air Dingin Kecivitas Bukit Raya Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for 3 months from April to June 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main influence of Cow Urine and KCl fertilizer doses on the Growth and yield of Shallots. The experimental design used was factorial 4x4 in a Completely Randomized Design. The first factor is Cow Urine (U) which consists of 4 levels namely 0, 100, 200 and 300 ml / l liter of water and the second factor is KCl (K) fertilizer with 4 levels namely 0, 10, 20 and 30 grams perplot with 3 times of repetition so as to get 48 trial units. Parameters observed were: plant height, number of leaves, age of harvest, number of tubers of clumps, weight of wet tubers per clump, weight of dry tubers per clump, shrinkage of tubers and harvest index. Observation data from each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with further tests of Honestly Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed the interaction of cow urine and KCl fertilizer dose affect the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight. The best treatment is a combination of 300 ml / 1 cow urine water and 30 g / plot KCl fertilizer dosage (U3K3). The main effect of cow urine is real on the parameters of harvest age, tuber shrinkage and harvest index. The best treatment is 300 ml / 1 cow urine water (U3). The main effect of KCl fertilizer significantly on the parameters of harvest age, tuber shrinkage and the best treatment harvest index is KCl 30 g / plot (K3) fertilizer dosage.
