Abstract
This study is motivated by the problems in the implementation of worship guidance for the students on fardhu Zuhr prayer. There are several problems that exist among students at SDN 001 Pangkalan Lesung as follows: there are still many students who do not perform the Zuhr prayer, there are still some students who have not memorized the prayer recitation, there are still some students who are unable to adjust between prayer recitation and movements, and there are still some students who play around while praying. To overcome these problems, the students need guidance from the teachers, because it is the responsibility of the teachers to provide guidance for the students. The problem formulation of this study is how the implementation of worship guidance on Zuhr Prayer for students in class VI at SDN 001, Pangkalan Lesung. The aim of this study is to investigate the process of the implementation of worship guidance on Zuhr Prayer. The type of this study is a quantitative descriptive research based on the description in the field. The sample of this study consists of 60 respondents because the population is less than 100 people. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study show that the implementation of worship guidance on Zuhr Prayer carried out by teachers is 65,3%, which is included in the range 61% -80%. It means that the implementation of worship guidance on Zuhr Prayer for students at SDN 001 Pangkalan Lesung is categorized as “Good”.
