Abstract

The purpose of this working paper is to find out how to manage archives at the Academic and Student Administration Bureau (Baak) of the Student Affairs and Alumni Section of the Islamic University of Riau. The method used in making this working paper is the Correlational method. The correlational method is an act of determining data by comparing theory and discussion. From the analysis of observations made by the author, it can be seen that the management of archives at the Student and Alumni Section of the Islamic University of Riau is correct with the existence of electronic archives through Google Form storage, so archive management activities become faster and more practical in moving documents, storing documents, indexing documents. , and control access. However, due to the narrow workspace that prevents employees from moving to work and the occurrence of power outages with uncertain times, it hampers the process of managing electronic archives and manual archives. The results of the research should be that the office has an adequate workspace in order to facilitate access to move and must be able to pay attention to or add other facilities in the event of a power outage which is difficult to find archives so that archive management becomes more effective and efficient.
