Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the duties of the Rokan Hulu Regency Transportation Service in serving orderly traffic in the Rokan Hulu Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The theory used in this study by using the implementation of Terry. The indicators in this study are implementation, control, and guidance. This research was conducted at the Department of Transportation of Rokan Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of determining information is done by using purosive sampling, namely the method of determining information is determined intentionally on the basis of certain criteria or considerations, namely by involving certain people. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the duties of the Rokan Hulu District Transportation Service in serving orderly traffic in the Rokan Hulu District is not carried out properly, this is caused by several factors, both internal and external factors. Such as the lack of supervision of the Rokan Hulu district transportation office on traffic order and the lack of public awareness in obeying traffic rules so that there are still many traffic accidents.
