Abstract

Coordination is very important in the organization, because in the organization there are various activities that are handled by different people, in the prevention of abrasion, it is very important to coordinate and cooperate between the district, sub-district and village offices so that abrasion prevention work can be carried out in Teluk Belitung Village, Merbau District, Islands Regency Meranti. The purpose of this study was to determine the coordination of abrasion prevention carried out by the local government and the abrasion control carried out by the regional government in accordance with existing regulations. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of the study are that the Coordination of Regional Government in Abrasion Management in Teluk Belitung Village, Merbau District, Meranti Islands Regency has not been implemented properly. The obstacles that occur in the Coordination of Local Government in Overcoming Abrasion in Teluk Belitung Village, Merbau District, Meranti Islands Regency are the lack of responsibility for the district office to handle the problem of overcoming abrasion and the absence of a budget from the region for abrasion.
