Abstract
Oyster mushrooms are healthy foods that are fit for consumption and can be developed as an effort to increase income. This study aims to analyze: (1) Characteristics of economic actors (entrepreneurs, traders, consumers) and the business profile of oyster mushrooms, (2) cultivation techniques, production costs, income and business efficiency of oyster mushrooms, (3) Oyster mushroom marketing strategies. The research method was a case study on the Riki oyster mushroom business in the Lyrics District of Indragiri Hulu District. The results of the study: (1) The age of the entrepreneur is 59 years, the average age of the trader is 43.33 years and the average age of the consumer is 40.33 years. The education of oyster mushroom entrepreneurs is 12 years, the average education of traders is 11 years and the average education of consumers is also 11 years. The experience of entrepreneurship is 7 years and trader is 4.33 years. The average experience of consuming oyster mushrooms for consumers is 20 months. The dependents of the entrepreneur's family are 3 people, for the dependents are 2 families, and the dependents are 2 consumers. The history of the Riki oyster mushroom business began in 2012, a small-scale individual enterprise, venture capital originated from own capital, labor from outside and within the family with a wage of Rp. 80,000 / HKP. (2) Oyster mushroom cultivation techniques start from making baglog, filling baglog into kumbung, stocking the seeds, inoculation, harvesting, planting media expenditure. The production of fresh oyster mushrooms is 450 kg, the total production cost is IDR 3,778,773 / production process, the total gross income is IDR 13,500,000 / production process and the total net income is IDR 9,721,227 / production process. The efficiency value of oyster mushroom farming is 3.57 so that oyster mushroom farming is feasible to be cultivated or developed, (3) Marketing strategy using 10P marketing mix has the highest score on product and place indicators with high category.
