Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how much the increase in the implementation of Demonstration Learning Model To Increase 100-meter Running Outcomes in Class VIII Students of SMP 4 Pekanbaru City This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Pekanabru City. Variables used were 100 meters running and demonstration methods. The research subjects used were grade VIII 2 students, 16 sons and 18 daughters, a total of 34 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics with the percentage. The results of the study showed that the improvement of the basic technique of running 100 meters for VIII 2 grade students of SMPN4 Pekanbaru City was good. The results obtained for the basic technique of running 100 meters in class VIII 2 of SMPN4 Pekanbaru City in cycle 1 were 58.8% "complete", in cycle 2 experiencing an increase of 85.2% "completing".
