Abstract
This research was conducted in Siak Regency with the object of research on the wedding organizer business. The main problem examined in this study is whether the accounting application carried out by wedding organizer entrepreneurs is in accordance with the basic concepts. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of accounting by wedding organizer entrepreneurs whether it is in accordance with the basic concepts and principles of accounting in carrying out their business. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, structured interviews, observation. and documentation, then after all data is obtained then the data is analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. Based on the research that has been carried out and the discussion, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the wedding organizer business in Siak Regency is not in accordance with the basic concepts and accounting principles that are currently in force.
